His personal dogs hold multiple obedience, tracking and hunting titles. They have appeared numerous times on television as well as starring in the 1994 Contemporary American Theater Company's production of "Of Mice and Men". His dog's have been active in the Animal Assisted therapy program at Columbus Community Hospital and would often visit schools, libraries, nursing homes and senior centers.
