Mission Statement
We, the Refugee Canyon staff, strive to provide quality medical care for all of our clients' animals and to serve our clients' needs in a professional manner by serving them as we would wish to be served.
Further, may we always remember that our thoughts become words, our words become actions, our actions become habits, our habits become our character, and our character becomes our destiny--but we do control that destiny!

New Clients
It is very helpful if you have your pets' past medical history with you, or are able to have it faxed to our office prior to your appointment. If necessary, we would be happy to contact your previous veterinarian to obtain these records. We will need you to fill out a "
New Client Form," which will ask questions about you and your pets. To download the New Client PDF, Adobe reader is needed. Click

Surgery Patients
Surgery Patients:
Your pet will need to be fasted the night before surgery. Please give no food after midnight the night before and no food the day of the procedure. Water is okay up until the time you bring your pet to the clinic. Pre-anesthetic bloodwork is highly recommended and required for patients over 7 years of age. We will ask for permission for this prior to admission. Animals released the same day of their surgical procedure will generally be ready to go after 4pm. We will contact you during recovery to give you a better idea of when your pet will be ready for discharge.
